Euli sees your screen and hears your voice when you ask it to, so this policy says plainly what we collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how you can see, export or delete it. It covers the Euli app for macOS, euli.io and Euli Cloud.
Your account
You need an account to use Euli. We keep your email address, your name and profile picture if you provide them, your plan and subscription status, how much of your monthly allowance you have used, and a list of the Macs signed in to your account (the device name and when each was last used). Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider.
Signing in with Google
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us (the openid, email and profile permissions). We use them only to create and identify your Euli account, show who is signed in, and contact you about your account. We don't request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google data.
We don't sell this information, share it with advertisers, use it to train AI models, or transfer it to anyone except the service providers listed below that help us run Euli. Euli's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove Euli's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
Screen and voice
- Euli only captures your screen and listens when you summon it (holding the shortcut, or a portal conversation you opened). It doesn't record in the background.
- Each question sends a screenshot of the screen you're on, plus what you said, to the AI model that answers you. Screenshots are used to answer that question and are not stored by Euli Cloud.
- With your own API key (Free): screenshots and your words go from your Mac directly to the provider you chose (Anthropic or OpenAI), under your agreement with them. Speech recognition and the default voice run on your Mac.
- On Plus and Pro: they pass through Euli Cloud to our AI provider (Anthropic) to answer you, and the replies are spoken by our voice providers (Fish Audio or Deepgram). We record how much you used, for your monthly limits.
- Euli can act on your Mac (click, type, open apps) only when you ask, and asks before acting by default. Esc stops it at any time.
Memory
Euli remembers things so it can help you better over time: facts you tell it, how-tos that worked, and short records of your conversations with it (what you asked, which app you were in, what Euli said and did).
- On the free plan, memory stays in a database on your Mac.
- On Plus and Pro, memory is stored in Euli Cloud so it can sync between your Macs, with a local copy on your Mac for when you're offline.
- Euli refuses to remember anything that looks like a password, key or payment detail, and you can pause memory at any time.
- You can read, edit and delete individual memories in the Memory window, and export or delete all of it from the Memory window or your account page. "Forget" removes the item and its history.
How we use and protect your data
- We use your data only to provide Euli: to answer you, remember what you asked it to, sync your Macs, keep your account secure, bill you, and support you.
- We never sell your data, and we don't use your screenshots, conversations or memory to train AI models. Our AI providers don't train on data sent through their APIs.
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on access-restricted servers. Euli's admin tools don't show your memory or conversations, and administrative actions on accounts are logged.
Who processes your data
- Clerk: sign-in and account identity
- Anthropic: the AI model on Plus and Pro (and on Free, if you use your own Anthropic key)
- OpenAI: only if you choose to use your own OpenAI key
- Fish Audio and Deepgram: cloud voices on Plus and Pro
- Dodo Payments: checkout and billing. They handle your card details; we never see or store them
- Vercel and Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of euli.io and Euli Cloud
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and cloud memory for as long as your account exists, or until you delete it. Usage records are kept for billing. When you delete your account, we delete its cloud data, apart from records we must keep for tax and accounting. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten.
Your choices and rights
You can export or delete your memory yourself at any time, sign out any of your Macs from your account page, and ask us to access, correct, export or delete your account data by writing to hello@euli.io. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Euli is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Questions about privacy go to hello@euli.io.
